Duncan Gregory is a Los Angeles-based writer, actor, director, and producer. Born and raised in LA, Duncan discovered a love for storytelling at an early age and went on to study Film & Television at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. While at NYU, he joined the sketch comedy group Hammerkatz and the long-running improv ensemble Dangerbox, performing regularly in New York’s downtown comedy scene.
Duncan has trained with Upright Citizens Brigade, appearing in sketch and improv shows across New York and Los Angeles. He is a professionally trained vocalist and comedic performer known for his absurdist voice, large characters, and bold ensemble work. His sketch and character work has gone viral on social media, and he continues to create original work for both stage and screen.
As a writer and director, Duncan is the creator of Late Night Lecture Series, a touring theatrical comedy that blends real research, audience participation, and academic chaos. He also founded PLAY, a full-length improvised theater project that performs on active stage sets during their dark days.
In the world of audio storytelling, Duncan has produced several acclaimed podcast series, including Gay Future, Walkin’ About with Allan McLeod, Tiny Dinos (with James III and Connor Ratliff), and Who Killed Avril Lavigne?. He works regularly with IFC Films, Shudder, and AMC Networks on creative strategy, design, and development.
